Cute Kid Hairstyles
December 272008
There are pretty much two kinds of parents when it comes to styling kid’s hair. First you have the parents that know exactly how they want their child’s hair to look down to the last strand. Second, you have the parents who simply want something simple and practical for their kids because they know that a complex hair do will not last long at all, especially if your child is active and likes to play around (which is the case for most children).
Simple hairstyles are much better for kids for many reasons. First of all, kids are very cute no matter what! Second, kids could careless about what their hairstyle looks like to others, they are much more concerned about which toy to play with and what game to play next. Third, most kids are very active and tend to get their hair dirty and tangled so why make things more difficult for us parents when trying to keep our kids clean. The simpler the hairstyle the quicker and easier it is for parents to untangle, clean, and get the kids back to their activities. No need to make things more difficult, right?
So what hairstyles are good for kids? Well, for girls things may be a little more complicated than for boys because sometimes parents prefer their girls to have long hair, but there are definitely ways to manage both. So let’s start with the simpler of the two, boy hairstyles. For boys, the best are always short hairstyles and comb down styles. Examples of short hairstyles would be the crew cut or short spiky hair; they both look great and don’t get in the way of boys playing around and having fun. For boys that tend to be less active, the comb down hairstyle is a good option that looks great and is still easy to manage.
Now for the girls, the best simple styles are medium length cuts that are slightly above their shoulders. At this length, the hair is short enough where tangles tend to not become too difficult, and yet long enough to allow for tie backs and tie ups for a little variety.
Well, hope this helped a little to shed some light on how keeping kid’s hair simple can still keep them looking extremely cute and always a winner in our own personal cutest baby contest.
